As defined, in a Wikipedia article:
“Integrity is the quality of being honest and showing a consistent and uncompromising adherence to strong moral and ethical principles and values. In ethics, integrity is regarded as the honesty and truthfulness or earnestness of one’s actions. Integrity can stand in opposition to hypocrisy. It regards internal consistency as a virtue and suggests that people who hold apparently conflicting values should account for the discrepancy or alter those values.”
How many times have we seen candidates or elected officials flip-flop on their positions. How many times have we seen these same individuals simply refuse to answer questions from their constituents or even worse blatantly ignore their constituents on matters of great importance?
Unfortunately, completely ignoring the public on matters of significant importance happens far too often with our elected officials, and our candidates, especially during an election year.
Taking a stand on a particular issue and demonstrating true conviction is less important and obviously more challenging than simply remaining silent. Let’s be honest, remaining silent is very purposeful, so as not to upset those who they do not wish to alienate to help ensure that candidate gets’ one more vote.
As many of my friends and readers know from the various article, or editorials I have posted in the past, I am of the Jewish faith. I am also the grandson of a Holocaust survivor. So yes, I do have a unique and personal perspective on matters as they relate to Israel, my Jewish faith and the middle east.
When Israel and the Jewish people, and even those not of the Jewish faith, were so viciously and mercilessly attacked without provocation by Hamas, on October 7, 2023, there was no doubt in my mind that evil does indeed exist in our world. Then this past Saturday, with the failed, (thank G-d) assassination attempt on President Trump, once again, I was assured as to the existence of evil.
Wake up people, the enemy is amongst us. It is the liberal elites, it is the media, it is the RINOs, it is our educational system, and worst of all it is the entire Biden administration. Each and every one of them is complicit and had a hand in what happened in Israel on October 7, and what happened to Donald Trump.
How dare they call G-d fearing conservatives and MAGA loving individuals a threat to our democracy. How dare they refer to us, the true patriots and defenders of our Constitution, the protectors the rule of law, and our G-d given rights, as Fascist, Nazi’s and Domestic Terrorist.
We must recognize the enemy and do all we can to legally defeat them at the ballot box and expose them for who and what they are: “The Enemy within”. We must vote in only those true conservatives who love our country and are willing to sacrifice for its survival, as much as Donald Trump is doing. We must do what we can legally to vote out those who talk about saving our democracy, yet are the true fear mongers, doing all they can to destroy our great nation from within.
Make no mistake: the enemy is at the gate: they are the ones who so quickly provide their talking points about unity and the greatness of our country yet conveniently only during times of tragedy.
“Never let a crisis go to waste”, a saying directly from the Democrat playbook; and they don’t let one go to waste. Now their rhetoric changes from calling us Nazis, Fascist and Domestic Terrorist, to how we must all come together as one nation and let us dial down the vial language, hatred and anger: Yet they are the ones who are to blame for these hateful acts.
It is said that all politics start locally, and I agree. So start with your local politicians. Learn about them, whether they are elected officials or new candidates. Research their voting records ask them important questions and demand they answer. If they refuse to respond, perhaps, you need to rethink whether certain individuals deserve your sacred vote!
Remember to ask yourself, before you vote for any candidate: What level of integrity does that candidate have?
Remember also: Stand for Something or you will Fall for Anything!
