PINAL COUNTY, Ariz. — Central Arizona University is investigating how the roof of its fine arts auditorium suddenly collapsed over the weekend.
The roof of the CAC Pence Center caved in, temporarily closing the facility, but no injuries were reported. The auditorium is located on the Signal Peak campus near Coolidge and hosts many arts events throughout the year.

A university spokesperson said administrators are considering whether future performances can be moved to another venue or need to be cancelled. Patrons who have already purchased tickets for upcoming events will be notified of any changes, the spokesperson said.
